NYORH AGWE Pop Up Shop Highlights

Though life is quieting down back down here in FL, I still cannot believe how amazing our first solo pop up shop was. And seeing the final coverage of the event by Art Living made me excited about it all over again!

The purpose of the Pop Up Shop, as explained in Art Livings coverage of the event, was to meet the NYORH AGWE client in person- who is she/he and why it was important for us to know him/her personally. I want to thank you all again for making the event an unbelievable experience. To those who attended I was so happy to meet all of you.

I am thankful to our event sponsor Bedford Stuyvesant Museum of African Art who graciously hosted us, to our music sponsor DJ EPM for the good vibes all night long, and to our partner Beau Monde Society for helping us put the event together. I thank God for my team. I truly could not have asked for a better group of young women to work with.

This event was put on by faith. Not by facts. Because the facts were telling us that we would not be ready to host such an event with everything that was going on in the industry and in our own lives. There were a lot of things to be scared of. There were a lot of things to be doubtful of. But everyday, we made the choice not to be lead by mere facts and fears but by faith; faith in God and his promises. And in the end, everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest. We are so grateful for the joy that our community continues to bring to us and we serve to give you all that same joy back. Thank you.
